Everyone talks about McCoy's weak arm, but from my POV he puts more zip on the ball than Clausen does. Clausen has to get his body behind all but the shortest throws, & his deep passes are all rainbows. I wouldn't think about using a first round selection on him.However, We are finding out that Clausen played much of 2009 with a very injured toe, which may have effected his ability to step into passes & to follow through properly.I don't know what the 2008 tape showed, or that from the first three games last season.
