Mock Draft - Buffalo pick 1 Year, 5 Months ago Karma: 0
I thought your mock draft was very good, particularly given that free agency hasn't started yet.

The one selection that jumped out at me was your prediction of Buffalo to take DJ Moore (CB-Vandy) in the first round. This seemed a bit odd since they took a corner with a relatively similar profile (Leodis McKelvin CB-Troy) with the #11 pick in the draft last year. Comparing the two:

McKelvin: 5-11, 190 dangerous returner, good cover corner
Moore: 5-10, 182, averaging over 20 yards per return, good cover corner

Do you think the Bills will take a corner with the #11 pick two years in a row that has relatively the same profile?

With Marshawn Lynch getting arrested (again), they may look running back, or as you said, D-line or O-line.

Heyy, thanks for the feedback and commenting on the site...I agree that McKelvin and Moore are very similar, but I still would take Moore over most other people.

For one, the Bills are known for taking their type of player, regardless of the draft postion. Secondly, the Bills look for that type of corner in the draft. The like quick and shutdown type corners. Jabari Greer will be gone via free agency, McGee is better suited inside at nickel, and Youtboty hasn't shown (me) enough to warrent not taking another corner.

Again, I think that after the combine and pro days, Moore could shoot up draft boards and by that time, Moore will be a good value at 11.

Just a note, I base my mock drafts and rankings mostly off of game film (along with most of the scouts), because if good scouting is done, a scout should know how fast a guy is before his 40 Time.

Good question and thanks again.
